This year's European Cup took place in Brasschaat, Belgium from June 15 through 20.

Benny Räber showed a nice performance against the Cologne Dodgers, but nevertheless got the loss.
Armin Blickenstorfer
The Challengers offense struggled against the pitching of Cologne starter Frank Stattler.

Thomas Landis
Thomas Landis got the win against the Stockholm BSK by pitching six strong innings.

Saentis Zeller
Former Challengers Saentis Zeller, who joined the team for the European Cup belted an important homer against the Stockholm BSK.

Brasschaat
The batters from Brasschaat proved to be to strong in the Semifinals.

Manny Marchant
Manny Marchant was an effective closer both against Stockholm and Brasschaat.

Challengers team
Team spirit was an inmportant factor for the Challengers to advance to the Semifinals.

Nick Lehmann
Nick Lehmann did a great job behind the plate and also hit a homer against Stockholm.
