Cards move into the Finals for the first time by dethroning Challengers

Team Notes
The Challengers hoped to capture the last available title in Switzerland, the Swiss Cup. But the Therwil Flyers had other plans and survived two late rallies and four solo homers to beat the Challengers 8-6 in the Cup Semifinals.

Swiss Cup: Cardinals-Flyers
The Flyers will face the Bern Cardinals, who beat the Zurich Barracudas 11-4, in the Finals, in what could be a rematch of this year's Championship Finals. The Cards beat the Flyers in four games to capture their first National title.
