Challengers and Devils again play 14-3

Similar to Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader, the Challengers scored seven of their 14 runs in the first inning and then played it out to the mercy rule after seven innings.

Robert Sedin dominated the Wil Devils on the mound by going the distance, allowing three runs – two of them unearned – on six hits and no walks, while also striking out seven. He also led the Challengers' offense with a 3-for-5 showing, including a homer, a double and a single, and also collecting three RBIs, scoring three runs and stealing a base.

Tobias Siegrist also contributed with three hits and now leads the team with a .407 batting average. Three other Challengers had at least two hits in a 14-hit attack against pitchers Diego and Gian Gladig.

Game notes
Sedin threw his 12th career complete game in the NLA, tying Enrico Zingg for sixth place on the Challengers alltime list. …Siegrist scored his 400th run in the NLA when he crossed the plate in the first inning on Carlos Nepomuceno's RBI-single.
