The Challengers almost erased a five-run deficit, but left the tying run on second base in the bottom of the ninth inning.<\/br><br \/>\n<\/br><br \/>\nThe C&#8217;s were dominant in the second half of the game and outhit their opponents 12-8, but couldn&#8217;t close the gap, as they missed too many chances to score. Clayton Carson started the rally with a double and scored on a RBI-single from Tobias Siegrist. In the fifth Robert Sedin and Siegrist again reduced the deficit to two runs 3-5 and in the sixth it seemed, that the C&#8217;s came within one run, but Jay Casimiro was called out at home. So it was in the eight frame, as the C&#8217;s scored another run with Siegrist crossing the plate on a wild pitch. The Barracudas are now leding the best-of-five semi-final series 5-4, so that the Challengers are already with their backs against the wall.
