Mustangs, Savoldelli beat Challengers 6-1Roger Savoldelli of the Embrach Mustangs profited from the Challengers' inability to score runners, and picked up his league-leading ninth win although allowing 12 hits in a complete-game effort.
The Challengers had just a single hit with runners in scoring position and left a total of 11 runners on base while outhitting their opponents 12-9.
Casey Auerbach led the Mustangs' offense as he went 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs, while Josh Crouse and Bruno Albrecht added two hits apiece.

Robert Sedin added two hits to raise his team-leading average to .471.
Tobias Siegrist, starting only his third game of the season, went a season-high seven innings, in which he gave up five runs - three of them unearned - on seven hits and three walks while also striking out five.
