Challengers make it six in a row with 15-5 win over Eagles

After Willy Schaub's gem earlier in the day, Dean Scherbaum followed up with another fine pitching performance by a Challenger.

Scherbaum went the distance by allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks while also striking out a career-high 12 batters.

He struck out at least two batters in every inning, and ended the game by striking out the final five batters.

He didn't have to worry about his teammates' offense, either, as they turned 12 hits and three walks into 15 runs.

Corsin Jost led all Challengers with three hits, three RBI's and two runs scored.

Both Nick Lehmann and Simon Saxer kept their torrid hitting alive, with Lehmann going 1-for-2 with two hit-by-pitches and Saxer going 2-for-4.

Game notes
Of the 15 outs, 12 came on strikes, one runner got caught stealing third, and another one was picked off first by catcher Lehmann. Bachmann's ground out to shortstop Sochor was the only out recorded by the Challengers on a hit ball.
