The 1st League-Team played its last gameday of the preeliminary round on Saturday, August 3 at Dulliken. The SG TruckStar/Challengers lost to the Yverdon Golgoths 5-15 in Game 1. In the second game of the day the Thun Hunters proved to be too strong once more, as the Hunters posted a 13-4 victory over the SG TruckStar/Challengers.
