And the C’s came close to their fifth win of the season, as Orlando Balbuena drove in Alex Gordon to tie the game at 7-7 and send it into extra innings. An RBI-single by Kurt Kovac and a two-run single by Adrian Kämpfer made it 10-7, but the Devils answered with an RBI-single by Gianluca Trüb, before Manuel Keller belted a three-run sayonara homerun for a dramatic 11-10 win for the Devils. The Challengers have now a 4-2 record.
