Marchant was named Best Batter in the NLA in 2003.


Manny Marchant's .521 batting average in 2003 is the eighth-best single-season performance in Challengers' history.


Marchant collected his 200th career RBI by singling home Chris Palatinus in the first inning againt the Bern Cardinals.


Marchant doubled in his 450th NLA at-bat in the eighth inning against the Bern Cardinals.


The six combined hit-by-pitches by Thomas Landis and Marchant against the Bern Cardinals tied the franchise record for a single game, last accomplished also against the Cards on April 16, 2000.


Marchant's double in the fourth inning against the Sissach Frogs was already his 50th in the NLA in just 426 at-bats. One inning later, he collected his 200th hit with an RBI-single off Steve Klee. Marchant's career high for RBI's in one game is 10, achieved on June 3, 2000 against the now defunct Richterswil Athletics.


Marchant was ejected in the second inning after getting into a conversation with first baseman Allenspach of the Therwil Flyers. Marchant argued that Allenspach intentionally slapped him in the face on a pick off play at first base, and base umpire Markus Schaffner didn't hesitate to give Marchant the hook after he gestured to Allenspach.


Marchant flied out in the fifth inning against the Therwil Flyers in his 400th NLA at-bat.


In 2002, Marchant has set new career highs with 14 stolen bases, 12 walks, a .541 on-base percentage, a .477 batting average, four wins, six saves, 37 strikeouts pitched and an ERA of 3.20 - second-best in Challenger history.


Marchant last allowed an earned run on August 3. He hasn't allowed two earned runs in a game since May 11 against the Sissach Frogs.


Marchant ended his hitting streak at nine games by going 0-for-2 against the Bern Cardinals with a walk in three plate appearances.


Marchant went 4-for-5 against the Sissach Frogs to improve his team-leading batting average to .500.


Marchant had a game-high three hits and three runs scored to go along with his three RBI's against the Therwil Flyers.


Marchant grounded out in his 300th at-bat in the NLA.


Marchant was named Best Batter in the NLA in 2001.


Marchant extended his team-leading hitting streak to 15 games by doubling twice against the Bern Cardinals.
