Zurschmitten walked away with the Best Batter award at the 2010 General Assembly, after setting team highs with 6 doubles, 33 runs scored, a .381 batting average, a .565 on-base percentage and 28 walks and finishing second with 24 hits.
Zurschmitten was named in the Swiss National Teams 17-woman roster for this years Softball European Championship Women B, which will take place from July 27 till August 1 in Hoboken (Belgium).
Zurschmitten went 3-for-4 and collected four RBI's against the Odense Giants at the European Cup Winners Cup Women B in Dupnitsa, Bulgaria.
Zurschmitten belted her first career homer, a solo shot in the fifth inning off Sophie Zihlmann, against the Therwil Flyers. Furthermore in the second inning she delivered her second career triple.
