Maduro went 4 1-3 innings in his Challengers debut.

The game was again marked by the Indians' big bats, hitting seven of their 13 hits for extra bases.

On the other hand, the Challengers were limited to only two doubles by Carlos Peña and player-coach James Sanders.

Ramirez hit his second long ball of the day in the fourth inning off Angel Maduro, a shot that clearly passed the center field fences that put the game away.

Maduro lasted 4 1-3 innings in his first outing for his new team. He had the tough job to show his potential against the heaviest hitting team in the country.

He didn't fare that bad as almost half of his runs were unearned thanks to three errors in the infield.

His offense didn't help him much as Sanders was the only Challenger with two hits in a poor seven-hit showing against Jack Portaz and two relievers.
