Barracudas rally for 5-2 win

The Challengers dropped Sunday's afternoon game against the Zurich Barracudas 5-2, blowing a 2-0 lead due to a shaky sixth inning.

The Challengers scored one run each in the first and fifth innings off Chris Michals, and Challenger starter Robert Sedin shut out the Barracudas through the first five innings.

He ran into trouble in the fourth and fifth innings as the Barracudas put runners on second and third with just one out, but failed to score both times.

In the sixth inning though, they came through on three hits, a base-on-balls, an error by shortstop Saentis Zeller and a passed ball by catcher Bryan Shemley, putting them up 4-2.

Michaels pitched two more innings for the win, while Roger Savoldelli and Josh Crouse secured it with one inning each on the mound.

Newly acquired Shane Uhle went 3-for-4 and stole three bases for the Fish, while Challenger import Clayton Carson was the only batter on his team with at least two hits.
