Flyers rally in 6th to beat Challengers 10-8

After coming back from a 7-2 deficit to take an 8-7 lead, the Challengers eventually lost 10-8 for the second loss of the day.

The Challengers showed great spirit in fighting back after a clear deficit, scoring five times in the sixth inning.

An error by catcher Ken Gökcimen, a bases-loaded walk by Takanobu Oshima, a run-scoring ground out by Bryan Shemley, and a two-run single by Nick Lehmann was all she wrote that inning for the Challengers as they batted around once.

But it wasn't enough as the Flyers fought back in the bottom half of the inning, scoring three times off reliever Wascar Garcia.

Garcia (0-2) was credited with his second loss of the season, also raising his ERA to 6.43.

Lehmann led his offense with three singles in four at-bats, and also collecting three RBI's.
