Challengers 2 dominate Flyers in 29-1 victory

The Challengers routed Flyers 29-1 behind a relentless offensive attack. After a scoreless first inning, the Challengers exploded for 15 runs in the top of the second inning. The outbreak featured an RBI double by Jasper Freigang, an RBI triple by Carlos Javier Laureano Santana, RBI doubles from Kirsten Rene Schmidt and Bastian Kämpfer, and a two-run inside-the-park home run by Noam Blickenstorfer. Leonel Yemalla Hernandez Reyes also added a two-run double later in the frame.

The Challengers expanded their lead in the third inning with two runs, driven by a Jordi Bucher RBI double and a sacrifice fly from Freigang. In the fourth inning, the Challengers added 12 more runs, capitalizing on multiple walks, hit batsmen, and two-run singles by both Florin Kämpfer and Bastian Kämpfer.

Starting pitcher Jasper Freigang earned the victory for the Challengers, tossing 2.1 hitless innings with three strikeouts. Losing pitcher Eik Elsener allowed 11 earned runs over three innings for Therwil. The Flyers scored their lone run in the bottom of the fourth when Beat Schürpf singled to drive in Elsener, but Benjamin Dickow got the final out to seal the 29-1 victory for the Challengers.
