1Panthers cruise past Challengers in 16-1 victory
The Wittenbach Panthers dominated the Challengers 16-1, highlighted by a nine-run fourth-inning outburst. Winning pitcher Ki. Zehnder threw 1.1 hitless innings with two strikeouts while also delivering an RBI double at the plate.The Wittenbach Panthers established an early lead in the first inning, scoring twice on a sacrifice fly by Michelle Zehnder and a groundout by Josianne Entner. Wittenbach extended their command in the second inning with a five-run frame, powered by an RBI single from Janina Liechti, an RBI walk to Celina Schmid, a hit-by-pitch RBI from Michelle Zehnder, and an RBI single by Entner to build a 7-0 advantage.
