The Challengers handed the Wil Devils their second-worst loss of the season as they lost 20-0 to Andrea Girasole and a 19-hit attack that had every Challenger player getting at least one hit.Girasole (6-3) tossed his first complete game of the season as the game was called in the bottom of the fifth due to the mercy rule. He surrendered only two hits and walked one and also struck out seven for his sixth win of the season.
Saentis Zeller, Tobias Siegrist and rookie Luigi Cinardi each had three hits with Zeller picking up a game-high three RBIs.
Zeller also drew two walks to give him a perfect 5-for-5 in on-base percentage.
Fabio Aimi ended the game in the bottom of the fifth inning with a pinch-hit RBI-single.
