The Challengers saw their eight-game winning streak come to an end, as they were swept by the Bern Cardinals on Sunday, August 9 at Hünenberg. The C’s spoiled a 5-3 and a 8-5 lead to eventually lose 10-14 in Game 1. In the second contest of the day the Cardinals built an early 6-0 lead and held on for a 13-4 victory.
The Challengers will face the Embrach Rainbows on Sunday, August 16 in a battle for fourth place.
