The NLB-Team improved into 3rd place after a sweep over the Luzern Eagles on Saturday, June 13. The Challengers had a fantastic start by leading 8-0 in the fourth frame and they held on for a 13-6 victory over the Eagles in Game 1. Every starter had at least one hit, with Carlos Nepomuceno setting the highlight with a homer in the sixth inning.

In Game 2 the Eagles tied the score twice, before the Challengers took the lead for good to eventually win 7-3. It was their fifth win in-a-row. Juan de la Rosa Bautista, Yusuke Azuma and Andreas Rüdisühli had two hits apiece, while Adderly Sarmiento drove in two runs. Azuma recorded his second win of the season, as he allowed three runs and eight hits. The Challengers have now a 6-4 record.
