The indoor season for our Juniors will end this upcoming weekend with two tournaments at Rümlang. The U12-Juveniles will play on Saturday, March 15, as the SG TruckStar/Challengers will face the Hünenberg Unicorns, Sissach Frogs, Lions/Rainbows and Rümlang Kobras. The first game will take place at 9 am, the final starts at 2 pm.
The tournament for the U15-Cadets will take place on Sunday, March 16. The SG TruckStar/Challengers will meet the Hünenberg Unicorns, Thun Hunters, Black Hawks and Rümlang Kobras with the first game starting at 10.30 am. The final will take place at 4.30 pm. On both days the games will be played at the Turnhalle Heuel, Katzenrütistr. 46, Rümlang.

Juniors play indoor tournament at Olten
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Truck Star Dulliken our partner team organizes the 1st Baseball Indoor Tournament at Olten on Sunday, March 9.
The U12-Juveniles from the TruckStar/Challengers will face the Hünenberg Unicorns, Rümlang Kobras and Wittenbach Vikings starting at 9.00 am against the Unicorns.
The U15-Cadets will play the Cardinals/Frogs, Hünenberg Unicorns and Thun Hunters beginning at 1.15pm. All games will be played at Stadthalle Kleinholz at Olten.
Junioren spielten in Therwil
Die Challengers Junioren bestritten zusammen mit den Dulliken TruckStar am Sonntag, 16. Februar das Hallenturnier in Therwil. Sowohl die U12-Juveniles als auch die U15-Cadets beendeten das Turnier im vierten Rang, wobei die U12-Juveniles den einzigen Sieg für die SG TruckStar/Challengers erzielen konnten.

Juniors travel to Therwil on Sunday
The U12-Juveniles and the U15-Cadets will participate at their second indoor tournament of the season on Sunday, February 16 at the 8th Baseball Indoor Tournament at Therwil. The Challengers will play together with the Dulliken TruckStar. All games will be played at the 99-er Sporthalle (Mühlebodenschulhaus, Schulgasse 1, 4106 Therwil).
The U12-Juveniles will face the Therwil Flyers, Rümlang Kobras and the Neuenburg Atomics from Germany. The first game for the SG TruckStar/Challengers will start at 9.55am.
The U15-Cadets will start their tournament at 3.20pm against the Thun Hunters and will also play the Neuenburg Atomics and the Therwil Flyers.
Juniors open indoor season
The U12-Juveniles and the U15-Cadets will open their indoor season on Saturday, February 1 at the Embrach Indoor Baseball Tournament at the Turnhalle Breiti (Schützenhausstr. 20, 8424 Embrach). The Challengers will play together with the Dulliken TruckStar.
The U12-Juveniles will face the Rümlang Kobras, Wittenbach Vikings and Wil Devils. The first game for the SG TruckStar/Challengers will start at 8.30am, the final will be played at 12.30pm.
The U15-Cadets will start their tournament at 1.30pm against the Therwil Flyers and will also play the Black Hawks, Rümlang Kobras and Wil Devils. The final will take place at 6.00pm.
Winter Practice 2013/2014

The winter practice for the Challengers U15-Cadets and the U12-Juveniles takes place every THURSDAY from 6pm till 8pm at the Turnhalle Aubrücke at the Luegislandstr. 173 in Zurich-Schwamendingen (bus 63 & 94 to Aubrücke). The last practice before school holidays will take place on April 10. On April 17, April 24 and May 1 there will be no practice.
Das Wintertraining der Challengers U15-Cadets und der U12-Juveniles findet jeden DONNERSTAG von 18.00 bis 20.00 Uhr in der Turnhalle Aubrücke an der Luegislandstr. 173 in Zürich-Schwamendingen statt (Bus 63 & 94 bis Aubrücke). Das letzte Training vor den Frühlingsferien findet am 10. April statt. Am 17. und 24. April und am 1. Mai finden keine Juniorentrainings statt.

The pitching practice for the Challengers U18-Juniors and the U15-Cadets takes place every MONDAY from 6pm till 8pm at the Turnhalle Schulhaus Schauenberg at the Lerchenhalde 40 in Zurich-Affoltern (bus 80 to Lerchenhalde). On December 23 and 30 there will be no practice.
Das Pitching Training der Challengers U18-Juniors und der U15-Cadets findet jeden MONTAG von 18.00 bis 20.00 Uhr in der Turnhalle Schilhaus Schauenberg an der Lerchenhalde 40 in Zürich-Affoltern statt (Bus 80 bis Lerchenhalde). Am 23. und 30. Dezember finden keine Pitching Trainings statt.

Cadets finish season in 8th place
The U15-Cadets finish their 2013 campaign in eighth place after losing the games for seventh place on Saturday, August 31 at Dulliken. The SG TruckStar/Challengers lost twice against the Black Hawks. After losing 13-17 in Game 1, the Black Hawks had also the better end in Game 2, posting a 16-10 victory. Thanks to the Truck Star organization for the pleasant and successful cooperation for the third straight year.
Die U15-Cadets beenden die Saison 2013 im achten Rang. Im Duell um Rang sieben unterlag die SG TruckStar/Challengers am Samstag, 31. August in Dulliken zweimal den Black Hawks. Nach einer 13-17 Niederlage im ersten Spiel, behielten die Black Hawks auch in der zweiten Begegnung mit 16-10 das bessere Ende für sich. Softball Games rained out
The Softball games between the Bern Cardinals and the Zürich Challengers scheduled for Saturday, August 24 were postponed because of rain. No makeup date has been announced. The C's will host the Wil Devils on Saturday, August 31 at the Klopstockwiese.
