After losing on Friday night against the Barracudas, the Challengers weren’t successful on Sunday neither. The team of head coach Clayton Carson had a good start, as Jesus Martinez drove in Robert Sedin with a sac fly to make it 1-0 in the first inning. And they added another run in the fifth, as Säntis Zeller plated Thomas Burger, but a base running error prevented a higher score. And then the C’s threw it away in the sixth. The Barracudas delivered three hits and the C’s committed several errors that led to four runs. Finally the Barracudas won 5-2. The Challengers are now in fifth place with a 2-4 record.
